Project management
PTS will act as a project co-ordinator and will assume overall responsibility for liaisons between the parties and the Commission concerning the project, and for the administration of the implementation of the research contract. The responsibilities of the co-ordinator include:
- correspondence with the Commission and third parties
- ensuring information flow within the consortium about all relevant technical and administrative matters
- administration of the project, and checking the work progress against the set time schedules
- collection and mailing of cost statements and reports of the Contractors to the Commission
A Project Co-ordination Committee (PCC) has been assembled by the Co-ordinator including one senior management representative from each partner. The PCC will monitor the project progress via the deliverables and the achievement of milestones and results, and it will act as the ultimate decision-making body of the consortium.
The Project Co-ordinator will be represented by Dieter Pauly acting as a General Project Manager (GPM), responsible for the contact with the Commission and for the overall management of the project.
Each project partner has nominated a Local Project Manager (LPM) and a deputy-LPM, serving as responsible contact person for their organisation and supporting the GPM in the day-to-day management. GPM and LPMs will be responsible for the overall technical, administrative and financial management of the project. The GPM will report to the PCC and to the Commission.

Workpackage list
Every workpackage will be managed by a workpackage leader, in collaboration with a selection of partner, altogether representing the Technical Management Board (TMB) (see fig. 1). The implementation plan can be outlined as in figure 2.
The following partners are appointed WP leader:
- PTS, leader of workpackage WP0 and WP1, supported by UCM
- UOP, leader of workpackage WP2
- LUC, leader of workpackage WP3
- VER, leader of workpackage WP4
Tasks of the Dissemination manger DM (in charge of partner 12, UCM and partner 5, VER, assisted by partner 2, ISE and partner 4, ANO) and include coordinating all dissemination and exploitation activities, ensuring the secrecy of patentable information (IPR) and pushing forward with the presentation to the public.
